    This book is ideal for anyone who wants to improve their training strategies. Many of us dive into the sport of triathlon ready to “hit the ground running” and unfortunately, never take methodical steps to build the basic and essential components to succeed in endurance racing. “Your Best Triathlon” may have saved me from a few frustrating years of questioning my athletic progress and potential. I also appreciate Friel’s scientifically sound reasoning behind many endurance principles and training regimens. Great for workout planning AND leisure reading!

    This is a good addition to Friel’s Training Bible. It actually includes training plans, which is nice, and helps the reader focus on the individual’s goals, not only for the year, or race…but also to focus on the goal of each training session.
