Just recieved this trainer in the mail a couple days ago and am having a great time. It was easy to set up and I was riding within 15 minutes of openning the box. The resistance is smooth and feels much more realistic that other trainers that I have tried through the years, I think the weight wheel that comes with it is a great feature. I only wish now that I had bought the one with more weight to provide a “more” realistic ride. The frame is very stable and the quick release allows me to transition to an outside ride in just a minute or two. I highly recommend this trainer to anyone who can’t get outside for whatever reason.

I really like this trainer. It’s well made and very easy to set up. You can be exercising in just a few minutes. This is my first trainer so I can’t compare this unit to any other make, however, this unit does perform as advertised. The feel is smooth, and to me the noise generated is not a problem. I listen to CD’s during my exercise sessions and the music keeps me motivated and my spirits up. I enjoy interval training and getting my heart rate up to 90-95% of my max and this unit is great for that type of training. You actually have more control when exercising hard with this unit than when you’re on the road. I highly recommend the Kurt Kinetic trainer. I also liked the Troy Jacobson “Spinervals” DVD that was included in the deal. He provides some very good workout routines to follow.

I don’t usually bother with writing reviews, but this trainer has really impressed me.

The packaging was impressively compact and sturdy, and the actual trainer folds up into a pretty manageable size if you need to tuck it away while not in use. It was easy to set up. I didn’t even have to read the instructions and I was riding in 15 minutes of deliver.

It was also not nearly as loud as I feared. Don’t get me wrong, it is loud, but it’s not so loud that I can’t watch tv while I ride. I’ve started using head phones just to be more noise concious as the tv was obviously louder than normal viewing levels.

I was concerned at the green color, but it’s not nearly as bad as in the pictures; it seems a bit less neon and obnoxious in person.

The resistance and ride isn’t obviously exactly that of actually road riding, but it feels more like real cycling than any excercise bike I’ve ever ridden.

I would highly recommend buing some sort of riser for the front wheel, as it just doesn’t feel right without one.

Only time will tell whether or not this product is worth the cost in the long term, but after being stuck indoors for the better part of a week with sub freezing weather I’m very pleased.

The only con was that it was covered in indus
