Assumptions

The ironguides 20-week Ironman Triathlon Training Plan assumes that the participant can accomplish the following:

First Time
SWIM: Complete 500m of swimming using any stroke without stopping.
CYCLING: Complete 90 minutes of cycling without stopping.
RUN: Complete an easy 30-minute jog without stopping.

Experienced
SWIM: Complete 1000m of swimming using any stroke without stopping.
CYCLING: Complete 120 minutes of cycling without stopping.
RUN: Complete an easy 40-minute jog without stopping.
