    now i know what i was doing wrong. Funny thing is i stayed straight, letting my arm & leg do the work. Man is it ever tiring.

    Thanks for the advice. I have a swim on Sunday morning. It’s 1000 meters in 15 minutes. It’s a requalification for open ocean lifeguarding. If I make it, I keep my job, if not, I lose it.

    what i do is i keep my arms pointing down under water, and that helps me. Take a very small amount of breaths, for me i take one a little b4 the flags b4 i do the flip turn and then one at mid pool on the way back

    yeah im a freemen my 50 time is 28 seconds too, but our couch sucks and doesnt teach us anything, so it could be better. swim is a difficult sport to do

    Im 14 too i swim a 28 second 50 free and its my first year competitively swimming and my coach says thats pretty good. But im more of a backstroker.

    if you want to know if youre good. dont ask on youtube, go to the usaswimming website and look at standards for your age group and quit bragging on youtube lol

    neither, but i am starting to get into it now that i realise i am quite good at it and i am starting to train now because i used to so so so much when i was a little kid, i can do 25m freestyle (front crawl) in 12 seconds.
