    I came to read this book through a friend’s recommendation. Struggling with a lingering sports injury, I was looking for real answers. Having had 3 bouts with 3 different PT philosopies and still not 100% I was searching for answers to why I was not healing 100%.

    This book perfectly described my own situation with specific solutions that other’s had not completely addressed. The biggest impact for me was understanding Andrew’s explanation of the planes of exercise and how traditional methods don’t really provide what the moving athlete needs in terms of targeted strength, flexibility, and mobilty that will transfer to the actual sport in motion. I could see where my current program was lacking, and now how to go about correcting it.

    I started to apply the corrective exercises for my injury (with some personal help from Andrew which was awesome!) and within 10 days of performing the exercises as perscribed, my massage therapist wanted to know what I was doing that had made so much difference in my muscle allignment. To have gone for months with little change in my condition, and to have a mere 10 days under my belt with new exercises, and see significant and tangible improvement, validated by a professional who knows muscles and knows my body, spoke volumes of the quality and value of what Andrew has put together. Thanks Andrew!!

    I was also highly impressed with the glowing forward by Joel Friel. Every serious triathlete knows Joel Friel. He gives Andrew a full 100% endorsement. That made me pay even closer attention as I started to read. I can now see and agree why Andrew was given such a high endorsement. He deserves it.

    I could go on and on with the benefits of reading and incorporating the information that Andrew has provided. Just do it. Round out your program to keep you in it for the long haul with full health.

    My strength training is forever changed thanks to Andrew and his book. Please, read it AND DO IT! You’ll never be the same.

    Great Book for anyone who wants to stay fit, February 27, 2011

    This book is easy to read and follow and the photographs demonstrating the work-out are great. There is some humor throughout the book which is great, especially when you are sweating! Would definitely recommend for anyone interesting in improving performance in a tri–also recommend for others who are just interested in getting and remaining fit. The author packs a lot of useful information in a relatively few pages and does it in such a way that you feel as if he is talking only to you! Love it.
