One Response to “Garmin Unisex HR Monitor Waterproof Soft Strap Color: Black”
The previous model of Garmin’s HRM in my experience slipped down from its intended position during long runs. After a while you’d develop a “Garmin HRM shallow breathing pattern” just by trying to keep the thing in place, thus defying the point of training. No such problem with this newer version, which has more flexible strap and less slippery plastic, during the first 100 miles or so of use. In detail, the contacts are now embedded in the strap rater than in a long plastic casing. So far so good, am waiting to see if this has staying power or will eventually sadly sag like the other model.
In summary, excellent but not tested long enough for five stars.
Note: it is necessary sync the watch to the new monitor before you run with it, this is not automatic. See the 305’s instruction manual.
