Doing cardio before resistance training isnt enough to simply cause muscle breakdown. Any activity you do that challenges your cardiorespiratory system will pull energy from 3 sources: glycogen (sugar), fat, and muscle. Most people usually have enough “fuel” or glycogen or fat to burn that that dont burn muscle. Muscle breakdown can occur if you are not eating enough for your resistance training (specifically protein). Did I answer your question?

hey Alycia pls can you clear this for me tat if we do cardio bfr strength training you lose wgt by only fat burning or does it involve muscle breakdown too ??
